Emraan Hashmi starring film ‘Murder 2’ went on floors yesterday. Reportedly, Bipasha Basu has been roped in to play the female lead after Mallika Sherawat had a fallout with the Bhatts.

“Post ‘Murder’, instead of being grateful to the producers and the film team, Sherawat tried to hog all the limelight for the success of the film. When a film does well, it’s the team that does well. How can you negate the music, Emraan Hashmi’s work and director Anurag Basu’s vision?” says Mukesh Bhatt.

Mallika was earlier rejected by the Bhatts when she approached them to play Parveen Babi in ‘Woh Lamhe’, due to her behaviour.
